Follow-up Care
As with any surgical procedure, follow-up care is an essential part of patient recovery after laser refractive surgery. Patients will be assessed at the day after the operation by the surgeon. This is a mandatory follow-up in the clinic. All follow-up care can be done at Eyetech Lasik Clinic at no additional charge to the patient.
Other follow-up assessments must be done at one week post-operatively, and
one month and three months post-operatively. These post-operative
visits can be done with a co-managing doctor if the
patient wishes. If the patient chooses to go elsewhere
for follow-up care, we will send a report to the doctor
of their choice. The doctor in turn will send Eyetech
Lasik Clinic all of the follow-up reports about the
patient. This way we can keep informed about the patient's
progress. These progress reports from co-managing doctors
assist us in monitoring outcomes for the sole purpose
of ensuring your best visual result.
